- The Aruba hotel has been the home of the vegas swing scene for years, and is the primary venue for the Vegas Exchange. Unless otherwise noted in the schedule above, all dances and events will be held here. We will be dancing in the ballroom on a big wooden floor. For information about getting a room at the Aruba for a discounted rate, see the Registration page. Free parking is available on the south side of the building.
Blues Workshop on Saturday
There will be a blues dancing workshop taught by Tim O'Neil and Whitton Frank, Saturday 10:30-4pm at the Thunderbird Lounge in the Aruba Hotel. This workshop is not part of the Vegas Exchange, so you will need to pay for it even if you already paid for the Exchange. The cost is $50 if you register before Sept 1st, and $60 if you register later. Individual classes are $18 per class. Tim and Whitton will also be available for private lessons on Sunday.
